We are the youth quartet group from San Diego Youth Symphony & Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra! We want to use music to promote childhood cancer awareness and inspire the change for children with cancer!

Florida String Quartet

Since April 2015, Joey’s four friends in the Alachua County Youth Orchestra has been playing music in downtown artwalk, farmers market, grocery store, etc. to fundraise for childhood cancer research.

Aidan is 17 years old. He received a scholarship to attend the Gator Chamber Music Institute at UF this summer 2018. He won 2nd place at State Competition 2017 for Cello Solo Intermediate II. Kieran is 15 years old. He also received a scholarship to attend the Gator Chamber Music Institute at UF this summer 2018. Lucas is 14 years old. He plays the first violin at ACYO. He won the first place at State Competition 2017 for Violin & Viola Duet Difficult I. He received a scholarship to attend the Gator Chamber Music Institute at UF in 2017. Quinn is 13 years old, Quinn received a scholarship to attend the Gator Chamber Music Institute at UF this summer 2018.
The Quartet won 1st place at state competition TWO years in a row 2017 and 2018, medium I and medium II.
