Together, Joey’s Wings Foundation, Kidney Cancer Association, Elevate Childhood Cancer Research and Advocacy, Wilms Cancer Foundation and childhood rare disease advocate Kelly Trout, BSN, RN, have joined together to bring about better outcomes for children and families facing pediatric kidney cancers.
Pediatric renal tumors include Wilms tumor, pediatric RCC, translocation RCC, rhabdoid tumors (among others), and are underfunded, understudied and cause outsized clinical challenges.
The PRTC is already taking action! Look out for:
• Scientific events to drive improvements in care and discovery
• Investment in basic biology and translational research
• Early-career grants to build future leadership
• Educational materials for families, clinicians, and advocates
• Advocating on key working groups and federal grant review panels
