This is our 5th year at the San Diego County Fair, folding origami cranes and sharing the story behind our 2,000 cranes display. Nearly everyone who visited our booth was shocked to discover the childhood cancer statistics we shared. Those conversations reminded us how little the public knows about pediatric cancer—and how important it is to keep raising awareness.
