After graduating with a Master degree in Accounting from Fisher School of Accounting at University of Florida I decided to work for the Gator nation. I started as the Auxiliary Accountant in the Department of General Accounting in April 2011. And I was promoted to General Ledger Team Lead after two years of working in the department. In 2015 I was promoted to the position of Assistant Controller in the Department of Treasury Management at UF. Back then I was responsible for the University’s over ten bank accounts’ operation and its investment portfolio. In 2018 I transitioned to the position of Assistant Director over Finance and Budget in the Museum of Natural History at UF and have ever since broadened my working experience in both financial operation and grants management. In 2019 I volunteered as a One-Year term of board position in my daughter’s synchro swimming team in Gainesville and was responsible for fund raising activities and assisting the treasurer. I’m currently a board member and serve as Treasurer in the homeowner association for my neighborhood in Gainesville. I have two teenagers at home and both graduated from Baby Gator in this Gator town. Kevin is in 8th Grade and Kathy is in 6th.  I like reading and gardening as a hobby.
