Dance Marathon at University of Florida is a yearlong effort involving community, hospitality, and marketing events at local businesses that culminates in our event each spring where students remain on their feet for 26.2 hours for those who can’t. Dance Marathon at UF is one of the five founding Dance Marathon programs in the nation. Since it’s start, DM has raised more than $12.4 million for the kids at UFHealth Shands Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
Our family is honored to become Dance Marathon’s Ambassador Family since Joey’s diagnosis. We speak at the Dance Marathon’s year-end party to spread the awareness of childhood cancer. We dance to raise money for the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, where Joey was treated and passed away. We connect with other ambassador families throughout Florida dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of children’s hospitals.
